Womble's Wound and Foot Care Solutions (WWFCS) offers MOBILE Nail Care for seniors and adults and VIRTUAL Wound and Ostomy Consultations tailored to individuals with transportation and mobility issues.

Foot health is often overlooked, and lack of care can lead to infection, pain, and limb loss and affect the quality of life. Like a traveling podiatrist, our certified foot nurses and nurse practitioner are experts in managing senior foot care needs. If we cannot address your in-home foot care service need, we can direct you to a local podiatrist.

At WWFCS, we are committed to providing safe, compassionate, quality care. We strive to promote foot health in the Apex, Burlington, Chapel Hill, Durham, Hillsborough, Mebane, Pittsboro, Raleigh, Sanford, Wake, and surrounding areas.

Morgan Womble, DNP, RN, AGPCNP-C, CWOCN

Hi! I'm Dr. Morgan Womble. I've been a nurse for 13 years and feel lucky to have trained under some of the best wound and foot care specialists in the nation! I am tri-certified as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) and I also have experience in foot hygiene. I am a Chapel Hill native, but my schooling has taken me all over the state. My most recent accomplishment is completing my Doctor in Nursing Practice degree from East Carolina University. I’ve worked for a large academic medical center for most of my career and am happy to bring my experiences to your doorstep. In my spare time, I like gardening, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my husband and our beloved dog.

Anne Sexton, BSN, RN, CWOCN, CFCN

Hi, I'm Ann Sexton! I love being a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence (CWOCN), and Certified Foot Care Nurse (CFCN). In 2018, I moved from California to Durham, North Carolina and started working as a wound and ostomy nurse in the local area. I then secured my Certified Foot Care Nurse certification. I truly enjoy caring for patients by caring for their feet. I trim toenails, treat fungal nails, perform callus parings, and offer sharp conservative debridement as a CWOCN and CFCN. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and 18-month-old son, gardening, and trying new traditional Taiwanese recipes.

Colleen Spiller, MA, BSN, RN, CWOCN

Hi, I’m Colleen Spiller! I have been a nurse for 32 years and a CWOCN for 23 years. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, for home health agencies, and more. I have worn many hats in my 31 years as a nurse. In addition to working hands-on at the bedside with patients, I have worked as a clinical education specialist for several medical product supply companies, acted as an elective official for the WOCN Society for Southeast region, participated in evidence-based education to advance the WOCN specialty, and more. In my spare time, I love bird-watching, hiking, dancing, visiting friends and loved ones, and relaxing on the beach.

Christopher Martin, ADN, RN, CFCN

Hi! I’m Chris Martin. I have been working in health care for six years, spending the majority of my time, thus far, in a Level I Burn Intensive Care Unit at a major academic medical center in North Carolina. I am a Certified Foot Care Nurse and really enjoy providing geriatric in-home foot care. I am currently working towards my Wound, Ostomy, Continence Certifications. I love to practice music and chess, read, cook, garden, and play with my 6-year-old German Shepard in my spare time!
